What's In The Kit
Acoustic transfer vents — 30 units (15 per saddlebag). Each vent is a two-piece twist-together assembly in a compact housing sized for installation along the floor of the saddlebag. The exterior half seats flush against the outside surface of the bag; the interior half locks it in place from inside. No adhesive or additional hardware is required once the two halves are twisted together through the drilled hole. The vent opening is covered by the hydrophobic mesh on the exterior half, preventing ingress while maintaining acoustic transfer.
Hydrophobic woven polyester mesh. Each vent is fitted with a woven polyester mesh treated for hydrophobic performance. The mesh weave is fine enough to block road grit, debris, and water droplets while remaining acoustically transparent to bass frequencies. Unlike foam-based weather seals, the woven polyester mesh does not degrade, compress, or lose its hydrophobic properties over the lifecycle of the installation.
Pre-drill templates — clutch-side and brake-side. Two side-specific moulded templates matched to the 2014–2023 Harley Touring saddlebag floor profile. Each template provides pre-drill locations for 15 vents along the bottom edge of the bag, ensuring consistent vent spacing, correct alignment with the bag floor geometry, and repeatable results across both bags.
