The Cicada Audio CHDRGG is a matched pair of custom tooled replacement kidney grilles for 2015–2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide models – metal powder-coated mesh, OEM fairing fitment, no tweeter cutout. Sold as matched pair.
The factory Road Glide kidney grilles are designed around the OEM speaker configuration and don't always provide adequate clearance or airflow for upgraded speaker assemblies. The CHDRGG replaces them with purpose-built alternatives that maintain the correct OEM dimensions and mounting points while providing improved acoustic transparency through the metal mesh design. What's Inside the CHDRGG
Each grille is custom tooled to the OEM kidney dimensions and mounting points, so the pair goes into the factory Road Glide fairing positions without modification. The face is metal mesh in a powder-coated finish, which is where the corrosion resistance comes from while the mesh keeps the grille acoustically transparent over an upgraded speaker. On the road: the fairing keeps its factory look while the speaker behind it plays through open mesh.
The face is left closed, with no cutout for a tweeter. On the road: this is the pair to fit when the build has no fairing tweeters, or when the tweeters are mounted somewhere else.
