Complete 4-speaker Pro Coaxial system for Harley Ultra models and Tour-Pak builds — FLX500.4 amplifier, dual CXX65.2 front and Tour-Pak lid, HDTSLINKv2 T-harness
The Cicada Audio 14FLXCXX-4X4U is the complete front-and-rear audio upgrade for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring models where the rear speakers sit in the Tour-Pak — Electra Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited, Road Glide Ultra, and any Touring model fitted with a Tour-Pak in place of standard saddlebags. Built around the FLX500.4 4-channel Class-D amplifier and two matched pairs of 2Ω CXX65.2 Pro Coaxial 6.5″ speakers — front fairing and Tour-Pak lid — it integrates via the HDTSLINKv2 T-harness with Maestro AR compatibility. Select Road Glide or Street Glide at checkout and the correct model-specific amplifier rack and branded grilles are included.
The 14FLXCXX-4X4U differs from the 14FLXCXX-4X4 in the rear speaker position. The standard bagger kit uses CXX69.2 6×9″ speakers in the saddlebag lids. The 14FLXCXX-4X4U replaces those with a matched pair of CXX65.2 6.5″ speakers for the Tour-Pak lid, where 6.5″ is the correct driver. The amplifier, T-harness, wiring, and front speakers are identical between the two kits — the only change is the rear speaker and position. If your bike has standard saddlebag lids, see the 14FLXCXX-4X4.
Who This Is For
Riders on 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring models where the rear speaker position is in the Tour-Pak rather than the saddlebag lids. This covers Electra Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited, and Road Glide Ultra — where a Tour-Pak is fitted as standard — and any Touring model where a Tour-Pak has been added. If your bike has standard saddlebag lids and you want CXX69.2 6×9″ rear speakers, the 14FLXCXX-4X4 is the correct kit.
What This Is Best For
- CXX65.2 Pro Coaxial speakers front and rear — 6.5″ matched throughout — two matched pairs of CXX65.2 speakers deliver consistent tone and sensitivity across fairing and Tour-Pak lid positions. The carbon matrix cone and higher-output voice coil give each position more projection than standard IMPP coaxials. All four drivers are 2Ω, matched to the FLX500.4 across all four channels.
- Tour-Pak lid rear stage — 6.5″ in, 6.5″ out — the Tour-Pak lid carries a 6.5″ cutout, not the 6×9″ opening found in saddlebag lids. The 14FLXCXX-4X4U uses a dedicated rear pair of CXX65.2 speakers sized and voiced for that position, rather than adapting the saddlebag lid speaker to a different enclosure. If you are building into a Tour-Pak, this is the correct rear driver.
- HDTSLINKv2 T-harness with Maestro AR compatibility — the HDTSLINKv2 creates a T-junction at the head unit, routing amplified signal to the FLX500.4 while maintaining factory wiring continuity. Maestro AR compatible for installs where the Maestro AR module is used to retain factory gauge and display integration — a common requirement on Ultra-spec models with a larger instrument cluster.
- FLX500.4 — 125W RMS per channel into 2Ω — the FLX500.4 drives all four CXX65.2 speakers with consistent power across both stages. 500W total on 8 AWG wiring — no battery upgrade required. The same Class-D platform used across the full 14FLX range.
- Complete kit — amplifier, speakers, harness, wiring, hardware — every component included. Amplifier, two CXX65.2 pairs, HDTSLINKv2, 8 AWG wiring kit, model-specific amplifier rack, and branded grilles. Select Road Glide or Street Glide at checkout.
Road Glide or Street Glide?
The amplifier, speakers, T-harness, and wiring are identical in both variants. What differs is the model-specific mounting hardware. The Road Glide variant includes the 14HDAR-RG amplifier rack and CHDRGG kidney grilles. The Street Glide variant includes the 14HDAR-SG amplifier rack and CHDSGG batwing grilles. Select the variant matching your fairing type — the Tour-Pak rear stage is the same in both.
Harness Configuration — T-Harness vs Individual Molex® Harnesses
The 14FLXCXX-4X4U uses the HDTSLINKv2 T-harness, which creates a single integration point at the head unit — rather than the separate HDFLXFo front output, HDFLXRo rear output, HDFiM front input, and HDRIM rear input harnesses used in the standard bagger kits. Ultra-spec models with Maestro AR integration requirements are best served by the T-harness approach. If you are unsure which integration method applies to your model, contact Motorcycle Audio Australia before ordering.
This System Requires a Radio Flash
Before installing any amplified audio upgrade on a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring model, the factory Infotainment radio needs to be flashed. The stock firmware applies EQ curves, dynamic compression, and output limiting that remain active after the amplifier is installed. A radio flash takes approximately 30 minutes and costs roughly $150–$300 AUD (TechnoResearch or any authorised Harley-Davidson® dealer). The flash is required — not optional.
The Bottom Line
The Tour-Pak complete system — FLX500.4 amplifier, two matched pairs of CXX65.2 6.5″ Pro Coaxial speakers front and Tour-Pak lid, HDTSLINKv2 T-harness, 8 AWG wiring, model-specific rack, and branded grilles. Built for Electra Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited, Road Glide Ultra, and any Touring model with a Tour-Pak. Select Road Glide or Street Glide above. For standard saddlebag builds with CXX69.2 6×9″ rear speakers, see the 14FLXCXX-4X4.

The FLX500.4 Amplifier
The FLX500.4 is a 4-channel Class-D amplifier designed for Harley-Davidson® Touring fairing installations. At 125W RMS per channel into 2Ω, it delivers clean, stable power to all four CXX65.2 speakers simultaneously without requiring a battery upgrade or 4 AWG power wiring. On the road: with matching 6.5″ Pro Coaxials front and rear, the tonal balance across the bike is consistent — no gap in coverage between the fairing position and the Tour-Pak fill, and both positions drawing from the same amplifier at identical impedance.
The CXX65.2 Pro Coaxial Speakers
The CXX65.2 is Cicada Audio's 6.5″ Pro Coaxial speaker at 2Ω — carbon matrix cone, higher-sensitivity voice coil, matched to the FLX500.4 at rated output. The 14FLXCXX-4X4U uses two matched pairs: one in the fairing, one in the Tour-Pak lid. Running the same driver front and rear ensures consistent tonal character across both positions — no difference in character between what the rider hears through the fairing and what passengers hear from the Tour-Pak. On the road: the CXX65.2 projects vocals and midrange with more authority than IMPP coaxials — the carbon matrix cone controls excursion at volume, which matters in a Tour-Pak enclosure where back-pressure is higher than a saddlebag lid.
The HDTSLINKv2 T-Harness
The HDTSLINKv2 is Cicada Audio's T-harness for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring models, providing Maestro AR compatibility. It creates a junction at the head unit — signal routes to the FLX500.4 amplifier on one branch while maintaining factory wiring continuity on the other. For Ultra-spec builds using a Maestro AR interface module to retain factory gauge and display integration, the HDTSLINKv2 is pre-wired for that connection. On the road: a single harness replaces multiple individual connector sets — the factory head unit communicates with the rest of the bike normally while the FLX500.4 handles all speaker output.
Why 8 AWG Wiring
The HDPG8K 8 AWG power and ground kit is correctly matched to the FLX500.4's current draw profile. A 500W Class-D amplifier at music-level signal demand draws well within 8 AWG capacity — no battery upgrade, no 4 AWG run required. On the road: no voltage drop, no thermal stress on the wiring, no need to revisit the install.
Radio Flash — Required Before Installation
The 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Infotainment radio ships from the factory with firmware tuned around the stock speaker system — significant EQ curves, dynamic compression, bass roll-off at volume, and output limiting. None of this is removed when you add an amplifier. Without a flash the system will not perform as designed. TechnoResearch is the most widely used flash service; any authorised Harley-Davidson® dealer can also perform it.
