The Cicada Audio CRT2.0 is a 2.0-inch aluminium diaphragm replacement assembly for the RR2TM compression motor – 8Ω, high-temp voice coil. Sold individually.
The CRT2.0 is the field-replacement diaphragm for the RR2TM 2-inch ferrite compression motor. If the diaphragm is damaged in service, the CRT2.0 allows the motor to be rebuilt in the field without replacing the complete motor assembly – the diaphragm swaps out independently of the motor basket and magnet structure. The replacement diaphragm matches the original specification: 2.0-inch aluminium dome with high-temp voice coil wound at 8Ω. On the road: a damaged diaphragm is a rebuild rather than a replacement, and the motor goes back to the specification it started with.
The CRT2.0 is sold individually – order a single unit to replace one damaged diaphragm, or two to rebuild a pair of RR2TM motors. For the complete RR2TM motor, see the RR2TM product page. Return freight is yours, and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply – we'll confirm any fee before the return is accepted.
