Factory radio T-harness for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring — plug-and-play 4-channel amp integration with the ADS Maestro AR included
The Cicada Audio® HDTSLINKAR-B is a factory radio "T" harness that connects a 4-channel aftermarket amplifier to a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring model, supplied complete with the ADS Maestro AR interface. It taps the factory radio signal at the source through correctly pinned Molex® connectors — no cutting, no splicing, no CAN-bus interference — and outputs through removable RCA connectors for any amplifier, or a built-in 4-position Molex® plug for direct connection to Cicada Audio® amplifiers. The Maestro AR flattens the factory equaliser, so the amplifier receives a clean signal rather than a processed one.
This is the complete version of the harness. The HDTSLINKAR is the identical T-harness supplied on its own, for riders who already own a Maestro AR or who don't intend to flatten the factory EQ. Everything else — the connectors, the dual output, the seven harnesses it replaces — is the same between the two. The only difference is whether the Maestro AR is in the box.
Who This Is For
Riders adding a 4-channel aftermarket amplifier to a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring model who want the whole signal path sorted in one order. If you are building a serious system — upgraded fairing speakers plus Tour-Pak® or saddlebag lid speakers, driven by a real amplifier — you need the factory EQ flattened, and this part number includes the module that does it. If you already have a Maestro AR from a previous build, or you are running a simpler setup where factory EQ correction isn't part of the plan, order the harness-only HDTSLINKAR instead and save the difference. If your bike is a 2024 or later Touring model, neither applies — those bikes use the A2B digital bus and need the 24HDZENHCAKIT.
What This Is Best For
- The ADS Maestro AR is in the box — the factory Boom!™ head unit applies heavy tonal shaping before the signal ever leaves the radio. The Maestro AR removes that processing so your amplifier receives a flat, neutral signal it can actually tune. Sourcing one separately means a second supplier, a second lead time, and a compatibility check; here it arrives matched to the harness.
- No-cut, no-splice factory integration — the T-harness plugs into the factory radio output and rear speaker connectors and leaves the original circuits live. The CAN-bus is untouched, so fade control, factory EQ profiles and handlebar audio adjustments all keep working, and there are no fault codes to chase at the next service. The install is fully reversible at trade-in time.
- Dual amplifier output — RCA or direct Cicada Molex® — the removable RCA connectors feed any 4-channel aftermarket amplifier, while the built-in 4-position Molex® plug connects straight to a Cicada Audio® amplifier without adapters. Both outputs live on the same harness, so changing amplifier brands later doesn't mean buying the harness again.
- Replaces seven separate harnesses and adapters — one part number covers the front signal adapter, rear signal adapter, stealth accessory power tap, rear speaker harness for bags or Tour-Pak®, battery and ground power tap, ultra-rear radio signal and speaker T-harness, and the fairing speaker pod plug adapters. Fewer joins behind the fairing means fewer connectors to work loose under vibration.
- Covers every 2014–2023 Boom!™ configuration — basic radios through CVO™ Ultra, factory-amplified and non-amplified alike. You do not need to identify which stereo package the bike left the factory with before ordering.
- Built for bikes running front and rear speakers — the harness delivers the most complete OEM-integrated signal path when the build uses both fairing speakers and Tour-Pak® or lid speakers. On a fairing-only build it still works, but you are paying for signal paths you won't use.
HDTSLINKAR-B, HDTSLINKAR or HDFiM-Y — which harness for your build?
Order the HDTSLINKAR-B if you want the complete package: the T-harness plus the ADS Maestro AR for factory EQ flattening, under one part number. This is the right call for most serious 2014–2023 Touring builds, and particularly any bike running both fairing and rear speakers.
Order the HDTSLINKAR if you already own a Maestro AR, or your build genuinely doesn't need factory EQ correction. Same harness, no module.
Order the HDFiM-Y or the HDFiM if your installer has specified them for a particular configuration. The Y-version is optimised for multi-channel Cicada FLX amplifiers and is the better path for those specific setups — it is a narrower solution, not a lesser one.
Not sure which fits your build? Contact us with your model, year and amplifier and we'll confirm the correct harness before you order.
The Bottom Line
The HDTSLINKAR-B is the cleanest, most OEM-correct way to put aftermarket power into a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring audio system, and the version that arrives ready to tune. No cutting, no CAN-bus risk, dual RCA and Cicada Molex® output, seven harnesses replaced by one, and the ADS Maestro AR supplied so the factory equaliser isn't fighting your amplifier. Add to cart above. For the harness on its own, see the HDTSLINKAR. For 2024+ Touring A2B builds, see the 24HDZENHCAKIT.

What's Inside the HDTSLINKAR-B
The harness connects to the factory radio output and rear speaker connectors using correctly pinned Molex® connectors at both ends — no depinning, no modification required. The "T" design intercepts the factory signal path and makes it available at the harness output while leaving the factory connections active and carrying signal. Removable RCA connectors provide standard amplifier input; the built-in 4-position Molex® plug provides direct connection to Cicada Audio® amplifiers without adapters. On the road: fade control, handlebar volume and factory EQ profiles behave exactly as they did before — as far as the bike is concerned, nothing has been added.
Wiring throughout is automotive-grade with braided loom, rated for the temperature cycling, vibration and moisture exposure of a motorcycle. The connector and loom specification is consistent end to end rather than a mix of OEM-grade and budget wiring. On the road: the harness survives heat soak behind the fairing, road spray, and years of vibration without insulation cracking or connectors backing out.
The ADS Maestro AR supplied with this part number is the module that flattens or reflashes the factory equaliser settings. It connects directly to the harness — no separate interface, no adapter, no sourcing exercise. On the road: your amplifier's gain and crossover settings do what you set them to, instead of correcting for processing the radio applied first.
Why the Factory EQ Has to Be Flattened
The factory Boom!™ head unit applies significant tonal processing before the signal leaves the radio — bass boost, a mid-range cut, and a treble lift, all calibrated for the efficiency and physical position of the factory speakers. That processing is correct for a stock bike. It is wrong the moment you fit an aftermarket amplifier and better speakers, because the acoustic limitations it was compensating for no longer exist.
What you hear is boomy, distorted bass and harsh mids as volume rises, and it cannot be tuned out at the amplifier — you would be applying a second correction on top of the first, which costs headroom and adds noise. The ADS Maestro AR removes the upstream processing so the amplifier receives a flat, neutral signal. For any serious audio upgrade on a 2014–2023 Touring model this is not optional, which is exactly why this version ships with the module rather than recommending it.
