Road Glide amplifiers in this collection are motorcycle Class-D designs for the 2015 to 2023 Road Glide® running the factory Boom! Box radio. The factory Boom! Box radio provides analogue speaker-level outputs, so an aftermarket amplifier connects through high-level inputs or a plug-in harness from the factory audio connector, the same approach as the 2014 to 2023 batwing platform. No A2B digital interface is required on this generation.

Will an amplifier work with my 2015 to 2023 Road Glide radio?
Yes. The factory Boom! Box radio on this generation outputs an analogue speaker-level signal, so an amplifier connects via high-level inputs or a plug-in harness with no digital interface. Most Cicada FLX amps add VOX or DC-offset turn-on so no reflash is needed.
How many channels do I need?
A four-channel amp runs the fairing and saddlebag pairs. A two-channel runs one stereo pair, or both channels bridged into one mono load. A monoblock is for a subwoofer. Many builds pair a four-channel for speakers with a mono for the sub.
Do I need a charging upgrade?
Sort the power and ground wiring first. Depending on the amplifier load and your listening habits, a higher-capacity battery, upgraded charging components or both may be appropriate. A lithium battery alone does not increase stator output, so plan the charging to suit a high-output build.
Where does the amplifier mount?
Compact amps mount in or around the fairing with the right hardware. Larger four-channel and mono subwoofer amps often mount in a saddlebag or another remote location. Check the dimensions against your intended spot before ordering.
Can I mix 2Ω and 4Ω speakers on the same amplifier?
On separate channels, yes. Each channel sees only the speaker wired to it, so a 4Ω pair on the front channels and a 2Ω pair on the rears is fine as long as the amplifier is stable at each load. On the same channel, avoid mixing impedances, because wiring a 2Ω and a 4Ω speaker together changes the combined load the amplifier sees and can push it outside its safe range. When in doubt, keep each channel to one impedance and check the amplifier minimum load.
