Speakers – Touring Batwing 2014–2023
Speakers for 2014 to 2023 Batwing Touring (Street Glide® and Electra Glide®)
Harley-Davidson batwing Touring speakers in this collection are intended for a compatible position on 2014 to 2023 Street Glide® and Electra Glide® models running the factory Boom! Box radio. The batwing inner fairing uses a pair of nominal 6.5 inch speakers. Speaker-equipped fairing lowers can add another pair of 6.5 inch drivers, compatible aftermarket saddlebag lids can accommodate 6x9 speakers, and Ultra models use 6.5 inch rear speakers in dedicated pods beside the Tour-Pak. Check the fitment information on each product for the exact position and any hardware needed.
The 2014 to 2023 fairing generally provides more installation room than the pre-2014 design, but basket depth, magnet diameter and grille clearance still need to be checked for each speaker. A suitable foam gasket can improve the seal between the speaker and its enclosure, reduce panel noise and prevent acoustic leakage. Choose the impedance that suits your amplifier, and weigh sensitivity, measured in dB per watt, alongside power for real-world loudness.
Why You'll Love It
- The widest brand choice for the platform: Cicada Audio, Precision Power, Hertz and Velocity drivers developed for 2014 to 2023 batwing inner fairing, lower fairing, saddlebag and Tour-Pak pod positions.
- Horn-loaded and coaxial options: from Cicada CH and CXX coaxials to Precision Power horn-loaded MAS.HT models for high sensitivity and strong projection over wind and exhaust.
- 2Ω and 4Ω variants: pick the impedance that suits a bridged or 2Ω-stable amplifier so you get the output the driver is capable of.
- Dedicated mid-bass drivers: Cicada CXXM65 and CXXM8 add saddlebag or lower-fairing low end to a staged build.
- Fitment listed per product: each listing carries a fitment table with the position and any adapter, lid or gasket required.
FAQ
What size speakers fit a 2014 to 2023 batwing?
The batwing inner fairing uses nominal 6.5 inch speakers on 2014 to 2023 Street Glide® and Electra Glide® models. Speaker-equipped fairing lowers add another 6.5 inch pair, compatible aftermarket saddlebag lids take 6x9 drivers, and Ultra models use 6.5 inch rear speakers in pods beside the Tour-Pak. Check the fitment information on each product.
Should I choose a 2Ω or 4Ω speaker?
Match it to your amplifier. If you plan to bridge two channels into one speaker, many motorcycle amps need a 4Ω speaker or combined 4Ω load, and the amplifier's bridged rating must be checked. In stereo, a 2Ω-stable amp makes more output into a 2Ω speaker on each channel.
Do these speakers need an amplifier?
They perform best on a dedicated external amplifier. On a correctly configured amp, a higher-sensitivity driver produces more usable output from the same power. See the 2014 to 2023 batwing amplifiers.
Can I run fairing, saddlebag and Tour-Pak speakers together?
Yes. A common build uses one amplifier channel per fairing and saddlebag speaker. Adding Tour-Pak pod speakers may require additional amplifier channels or a carefully designed shared-channel arrangement that stays within the amplifier's impedance rating. For everything matched in one box, see the complete systems.
