Cicada Audio — Coaxial Speakers
Cicada Audio's coaxial range spans three tiers — the CX standard series, the CXX high-output series, and the CHX Carbon series with horn-loaded compression tweeter. All are built for Harley-Davidson Touring fairing and saddlebag positions, in the sizes those positions require: 6.5" for batwing fairing and Tour-Pak, 5.25" for Road Glide fairing, and 6×9" for saddlebag lids. Each tier delivers more sensitivity and output than the one below it.
The CX series is the entry point to Cicada Audio — a significant step up from factory speakers and generic aftermarket alternatives, with a basket design and power handling matched to motorcycle use. The CXX raises the bar in sensitivity and excursion. The CHX Carbon uses a compression driver with a carbon-loaded horn rather than a conventional dome tweeter — the result is dramatically higher output and projection at highway speed.
Choosing between CX, CXX and CHX depends on your amplifier power and target volume. A CX on a well-matched 75W channel sounds excellent; a CHX on the same channel is significantly louder.
