The full Cicada Audio speaker range for Harley-Davidson® Touring: CX and CXX coaxials, CH and CHX horn-loaded coaxials, CM and CMB mid-bass and RR ring radiator tweeters, in 2Ω and 4Ω. Motorcycle Audio Australia is Cicada's exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor.

Pro Horn Coaxial — CHX Series

The flagship range. Carbon Matrix composite cone with a horn-loaded tweeter — highest sensitivity and best output at speed. The choice for anyone running an amplified system and wanting maximum volume from a fairing or saddlebag position.

Classic Horn Coaxial — CH Series

Larry Frederick-designed horn coaxials. The all-weather variants are built for exposed positions. A step down from the CHX in raw output, but a proven design with strong real-world performance for moderate power builds.

Coaxial Speakers — CX / CXX Series

The CXX is built to be pushed. Kevlar cone, N45H neodymium magnet, die-cast aluminium basket, and 93 dB sensitivity — it extracts more output per watt than a standard coaxial and handles heat better on long runs. If you're pairing with the FLX700.4, the CXX is the logical match. The CX covers the same form factor at lower power levels — same positions, same fitment, less thermal headroom.

Mid-Bass Drivers — CM / CMB Series

CM series full-range mid-bass drivers for component builds in fairing and saddlebag positions. CMB series high-excursion drivers for saddlebag subwoofer enclosures. Both built on the Carbon Matrix composite platform.

How do you choose a Cicada speaker?

This collection is the full Cicada speaker range. It covers CX and CXX coaxial speakers in 4, 5.25, 5x7, 6.5, 6x9 and 8 inch, CH and CHX horn-loaded coaxials, CM and CMB mid-bass drivers, and RR ring radiator tweeters and waveguides. FAQ

Coaxial, horn-loaded or mid-bass?

A coaxial is the simple direct swap, a horn-loaded driver gives more output per watt, and a mid-bass adds impact in the low band. Choose by how you ride and how much amplifier you run.

What size Cicada speaker fits my bike?

It depends on your model, year and position. Use the model collections rather than nominal size, since fitment depends on the exact bike. Tell us your Harley and we will confirm.

Do Cicada speakers need an amplifier?

They sound better on a dedicated amplifier, and the horn-loaded models reach a given volume on less power thanks to their higher sensitivity. See the Cicada amplifiers.

Are they weatherproof?

Cicada speakers use Rain or Shine materials for weather resistance. Check each product's rating rather than assuming every model shares the same figure.
