The 2014 to 2023 Ultra Limited, Ultra Classic and Tour-Pak equipped Electra Glide models share the batwing platform with the Street Glide and run the factory Boom! Box radio. Models fitted with a factory Tour-Pak carry rear speakers in dedicated pods beside it, which gives a factory four-speaker layout. Not every Electra Glide is configured this way, so confirm your model and whether it has the Tour-Pak speaker pods. Factory fairing speaker size varies by model and audio package. Many factory systems use 5.25 inch speakers, while selected higher-spec systems use 6.5 inch. Direct-fit 6.5 inch upgrade kits are also available for compatible factory pods. Upgrade the front fairing speakers first, then the rear pod speakers, and add an amplifier to drive the system cleanly. Most 2014 to 2018 Ultra-family models use the Boom! Box 6.5GT, with the Boom!
